With the increasingly tumultuous nature of the world the anchor of our breath seems more and more to be a refuge. As I work on these paper pieces I have been painting with water, meditating on water and on interconnectedness. Anchoring within my breath my body and within the surrounding world. The title of this piece is a line from a Buddhist prayer to the female lineage.
